USA Today recognized our work on the Phoenix VA scandal when the $9,345 bonus to embattled Director Sharon Helman was rescinded last week.  Since when did public service come with a bonus?
 
In my Forbes editorial, here's the conclusion: insiders can't reform the VA. If the insider promotion of Dr. Jeffrey Murawski is the best solution to fix the national problem, then the entire system must be overhauled.
 
In a Washington Examiner editorial, U.S. Senator Tom Coburn's Communications Director John Hart wrote, "In Washington, resignations aren't reform." After VA Secretary Eric Shinseki resigned, much more's needed and Hart recognized our transparency work. 
 
We worked with Michael Volpe at Daily Caller to expose the Memphis VA for cutting vital services to veterans while paying $1 million in bonuses (2011-2013). The Bill O'Reilly Show at FOX News showcased the Memphis VA in a segment.
